The first issue of our magazine is out! Issue one features poetry from Baltimore Writing Hour regulars David Tablada and Alina Grigorovitch, as well as a host of Baltimore-area writers including Aurora Engle-Pratt, Elisavietta Ritchie (whose work is complemented with art by Megan Richard), B. Morrison, Ellen Marshall, Richard Baldwin Cook, Kate Gillespie, Meg Eden, and Chandni Chand. Fiction and nonfiction features two stories from H. Dean Freeman, Jr – one about sex and pizza, the other about interactions with clowns, both hilarious and quirky reads – an existential conversation taking place at the end of the world from Whitney Morton, a beautifully crafted recounting of a childhood from Myrina Cardella-Marenghi, and reflections on a defunct Bolton Hill church from Alina Grigorovitch. Around and between is lovely and haunting photography from Kevin Moore, Stephen Evans, and Larraine Formica.
Read the issue online and order copies for yourself and your loved ones for a mere $5.

A huge thank you again to all our contributors and editors! Next issue will be a themed one. Got a theme idea you’ve always wanted to see? Drop your idea @writinghour or email@example.com and it may be one we use.
